Sqad, or anyone else who worked in the medical field, remember using one of these to time coagulation and other tests. A vintage mechanical stop watch dating, I'd estimate from the '60s. Obviously all timers would be digital today...Somehow it jumped into my pocket shortly before I left working in the lab:) The opening question is, of course, from "Carry On Doctor".

LOL....quite interesting, oddly enough I never used one or saw one used. The bleeding time always came back on a "blood report."

The ear-lobe seemed to be the choice location for this test. Anyway, I recently replaced the stem on this watch, and cleaned and oiled the movement...Ticking away like it did eons ago!

I think it was "Doctor in the House" not "Carry On Doctor.

Sir lancelot - brilliant!

Notice that he greets the doctors as he walks up the steps, and ignores the nurse!
