yaaaay! the return of this 45mn of plank-sliding announces the countdown to my own annual pigrimage to places white and cold.

at least it's snowing at last, hopefully it stays cold for the next 4 weeks - might actually then be skiing rather than quad-biking.......

I live in Zug Switzerland and no snow at groundlevel(430 meters), but it did come down heavy Thursday and settled for about three hours before melting.
Howver on the way to Lidl Saturday could see plenty on the hills and Rigi our local mountain. Beennraining now for 36 hours non stop, so,of that is coming down as snow uptop then some good snow cover at last.
I got a good view of the Alps from office window latenfriday afternoon a and they were looking very white.
I will watch out for the regular air ambulance landing on the roof on Zug canton hospital next week from office window. Always a sign that the ski season is in full flow :-)
