Hi, Chrome wasn't working on my laptop, so I had to uninstall it. There was absolutely no way of getting it to work. I was hoping there was a way to download it again straight after, but now I have no browser to do it on. I've tried using internet explorer, but it says it has no way of opening it without a browser. I've used my phone internet to look for help and it says to copy the chrome files onto your pc, but there is no way of doing that. There are also links to go on to download it offline, but obviously I can only view them on my phone and the issue is with my laptop. I hope this make sense. I need help asap!

"I've tried using internet explorer, but it says it has no way of opening it without a browser."

Internet Explorer is a browser. Your statement doesn't make sense.
What make and model laptop do you have. Also what Operating System (Windows 7, 8, or whatever)

I am somewhat lost when you say "I've tried using internet explorer, but it says it has no way of opening it without a browser."..... Internet Explorer is a browser and is Not something which is lost from a laptop...... Personally, I do Not like Internet Explorer or Google Chrome and much prefer the top Browser, which, in my opinion. is Firefox.

Hans.

I was looking for the link to internet explorer and it came up, so I clicked as a last resort. I know it's a browser. Chrome is what I was using, but any browser would do for now. I wasn't expecting IE to be on my laptop, but the link was.
I have a Sony vaio and it's windows 7.
If both Chrome and IE are refusing to open, the problem is more likely the computer than the browser.

Will it work if I copy chrome onto a usb storage from someone else's laptop and paste it onto my own?
Try it and see. You won't be any worse of than you are now if it doesn't work.
If you have access to another laptop you can download the installation files for Chrome onto a USB stick, put it in your computer and install Chrome directly from the stick (or copy it on to your computer and install it from there).
Instal Firefox, I just have recently and it's great.
Try activating Internet Explorer via the following method:

- On your keyboard press the Windows Icon key plus the "R" key combination together to display a 'Run' box.
- In the 'Run' box type the text "IEXPLORE" and then click 'Ok'
- Internet explorer should startup where you can then try accessing the Chrome download / install web page at:- https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/
