Watching the news today about how the Brit washed his hair and bathed.

I assume he has a tube/bag for a pee like in hospital, but what about a poo, how do they do that?

They pee into a special tube. I remember reading this and Peake had to practise his aim.
They don't use a catheter bag when they pee. They pee into a suction tube which whisks the pee away without (hopefully) sucking too hard.

Same sort of thing with the poo, a special toilet bowl sucks it away as the do it.
From Porridge

Doctor: I want you to fill one of those containers for me.

Fletcher : (other side of the room): What, from 'ere?
Gawd 'elp 'em if it ever breaks down... :-0
There's a Youtube video for everything these days ;-)

Looks hazardous - what stops it sucking out all your intestines ?
I suppose, Canary42, they check that everything is properly attached when the astronauts are training, and then hope for the best.
I recall being told the correct procedure of flushing a submarine wc which is flushed with the aid of compressed air. When the job was completed and paper work done the submariner turned an air valve and pulled a lever to flush. If the valve had not been turned there would be a
collosal blowback. Yuck :-)
I used to assume that, when the - erm - w.c. container was full, the astronauts would just fire it out of the space station and let it burn up as it fell through the atmosphere. But no; they carefully bring all their rubbish back to earth.
I think they stick their bums out of the window TRT...not for too long, of course, just in case all the air escapes.
