I can`t really understand why people get so emotional about the Vulcan. It`s just another aeroplane.

Only if you can't remember your own OPs
No, I probably can`t because I am busy living my life so I`ll let you have the last word on this one :-)

You're probably not British which would explain your lack of National Pride, your loss imo.
Of course I`m British - I can`t think what makes you think that I`m not.
Downloading now from Sky, I will get back to you once I view the program. Thanks for telling me it was on.

Your lack of National Pride Dear!
I have no lack of national pride (my dear) I can assure you!
Thanks Baldric, the V bombers were quite special
Vulvans are a great sight to see. I love to see displays of all the wonderful old aircraft. I'm very proud of our lads who flew them. My friend's late father flew Lancaster bombers during the war and he was, rightly, very proud of his time as a pilot.
Magnificent aircraft. I've seen them many times. An icon of British design and innovation.
^^^VULCANS... oops, sorry !
Quite right tinks. All very brave men. Taking off every night knowing there was a good chance they wouldn't come home, but they went anyway.
Last year seeing the two Lancasters a Vulcan and two Hurricanes needed a lot of discreet swallowing.
I was moved close to tears by many moments in the programme. As a nation we. Have lost so much of our authority in the dysfunctional world of today.
This country has been socialist realist vs socialist idealist ever since WW2. Corbyn's predecessors have already tried to make us undefendable from the rest of the world. Meanwhile in the real world the cost of Trident renewl is about the same as the NHS costs us for a few weeks.
Maybe as socialists we should invite other people to invade us and take responsibility for our trillions of £ of debt. I'm sure my kids could learn Arabic and the Koran before their their heads were cut off.
I recorded the prog to watch when Mrs B was elsewhere, well worth watching. My father flew in Swordfish during WW2 another underated aircraft.
