It's going in the garage. We have spent most of the day sorting said garage and have visited the tip with loads of junk.
Will it be ok to site the freezer on a big sheet of plywood? The garage floor is unsealed and very dusty.
Will there be any heat at the bottom of the freezer?

Is one of them a chest freezer, margo. If so, good luck. Don't fall in it, will you....and watch out for your hip!
Titters - I did upend myself in my old chest freezer! Both up mine are now upright , much easier. Off to have a rummage now to see if I can find tomorrow's dinner.
I found a Cassata Sicilliana last week that I did not know I had. Tasted with some trepidation but it was absolutely fine. Think it is time to have a sort out.

I had to Google that, Ubasses. I've never heard of Casatta Scicilliana.

^ Siciliana.
I don't know how long ago I made it, could not remember it at all, but we weren't ill, so will finish it off over the next couple of weeks.

You made it?????????????????

Wow!
There is very little shop bought in the freezer, it is mostly things I have made. As there is only the 2 of us I usually make full recipe and freeze half (or more). Not sure how I would make an insurance claim if freezer ever failed.
Question Author
My new freezer one will only have shop bought things in it until I get round to replacing them with homemade stuff, Ubasses.

I am still impressed at the homemade Casatta.
