Where are the emoticons , on AB ?

You can access symbols such as ♪ and ♫, as well as ▲ and ▼, together with ♂ and ♀ etc by ensuring that your keyboard's number lock is turned on, holding down the Alt key and then typing the relevant number(s) on your keyboard's numeric keypad. (It doesn't work if you use the row of numbers above the letters):
