£147.99 is the current price (using the discount code) on the Vax website for the model described as 'Vax Air Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner' but, confusingly, there are some models with very similar names (such as the 'Vax Air Cordless Switch Upright Vacuum Cleaner' at £129.99 and the 'Vax LiFE Unplugged Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner' at £119.99).

I wouldn't touch a vax with a barge pole. The ones I have come into contact with have been useless and keep breaking.

I had the cordless but did not find it powerful enough for my needs..so exchanged it for a bagless upright which is super duper...

Before going ahead with this purchase, you really should read November 2015 Which? reports....the Vax cordless models are not good at all. The only cordless vacs that perform as well as mains machines are by Dyson and Bosch.
