American Fridge Freezer

Hi I am thinking of getting an American style fridge freezer the plumbed in versions, was wondering if anyone's got some good or bad reviews on makes or models , I've googled it but it's a mine field cheers

I've heard of a few people falling foul of door widths - make absolutley sure the model you fancy will fit through your front and inner doors and remember neithr door jambs nor fridges bend.

Worth knowing. Been wanting to get one for ages but not got around to it. Always assumed manufacturers knew common door widths and designed their product professionally.

You can take the doors off. Obviously doesn't make it narrower but makes it easier to maneuver.

my friend wrecked her door frame when moving home..and badly scratched and dented fridge....check dimensions BEFORE you buy...

Umm - these fridges tend to need the door jambs off as well - and they are useless at cornering...
