Yes ! .. for fllights and accomodation .. never had a problem.
I always arrange my own transfers and insurance.

HolidayPirates only provides links to current travel offers from various tour operators, airlines and hoteliers. You don't actually book with HolidayPirates, so the quality of service you receive will depend upon that given by the firm that you make your contract with.

The main grouse that people seem to have about the HolidayPirates website is that the prices advertised aren't 'live'. So a lot of the deals are sold out (or the prices have risen dramatically) when you click through to the websites of the firms advertising those deals.

Dealchecker and Travelzoo do similar thngs. I've taken Travelzoo holidays several times and had no problem - though as Buenchico says, they're not a travel agent or a tour operator, they just direct you to good deals from people who are.
