I took a rare journey up to Town by train, yesterday, from Swansea. The GWR Wifi was surprisingly good ! And free !

And it seemed to me that there wasn't anybody on the train, up to Town and back again that didn't have a tablet, laptop or smart phone !

Wifi has been on trains for years. Probably a decade. Most new buses have wifi as standard too.
whilst it has existed for 10 years, it's only comparatively recently that its become anything like reliable, and even now it's still not suitable for large data transfers, like downloading books or films, or watching catch up tv. it's also only generally complimentary in first class, many operators (including crosscontry, virgin, abellio and east midlands) still charge standard class passengers. in wales it's only available on GWR services and in the north of england there are vast areas with no coverage.
I am surprised that you are working for Mori pollsters. I thought YouGov was your prefered method of getting wrong results :-)
