Are there any adverts. that either so *** you off that you would never buy the product advertised or appear on your computer at the most inconvenient moments with the same counterproductive results?

I know its a long time ago now, but that 'orrible advert for "Shake n Vac" used to drive me mad !
Eddie ~ is a "graduate industrial chemist" different from a "industrial chemist"?

Some of the adverts are memorable - I like the ones with animals. I must have been the only one in the UK stupid enough to think that John Lewis used real penguins in last year's Christmas Advert. (Watched on You Tube).

Haven't watched TV for years - the adverts were pretty naff then.

Wolf you can be a chemist without gaining a degree.
Ivor, If something was 'outthere' I would soon hear of it by word of mouth.
eddie51 sorry but your not in the real world but good luck to you

/Good stuff sells itself !/

If only that was true....
I think most of them are...I remember and recognise a lot of adverts, but rarely what they are actually advertising.
I worked with a guy who was in his forties and divorced. He told me that he had been unable to sleep the previous night and put the TV on to watch. I was told that there were horrendous adverts that, when he did get to sleep, gave him bad dreams. Sanitary towels!

I didn't think there would have been a need to advertise them either.
I agree with silliemillie. I can't stand that Galaxy ad! Also, any ads for quick loans annoy me.
I detest most adverts, especially those on tv, and rarely watch any of the commercial channels. If I do watch, I record and fast forward passed the adverts on playback. One of the few that I did not mind watching was the one for the opticians 'should have gone to' whatever it was. Very funny - but I never used them.

Most adverts give me the impression that the advertisers are treating me as an idiot. Like EDDIE, they have almost no affect on what we buy. I do not recall seeing any the manufacturers of the food we buy regularly in adverts - whether on tv or other places. I had an email yesterday inviting me to see a company's latest advert! I decided to turn down this fantastic opportunity.
