I usually buy my frontline cat flea drops off ebay but there is not much choice at the moment, is there a different brand that is just as good without having to pay vets prices.thanks

I don`t know about price comparisons but Advocate is better than Frontline. It`s a well known fact among vets that fleas are becoming resistant to Frontline in many parts of the world. Advantage is the same as Advocate but without the anti-worming element.
Agree. You can buy Frontline anywhere now, supermarkets etc - that's because it's nowhere near as effective as it used to be. Vets prices are a lot but at least they work. Buying cheap stuff is a waste of money in the long run. I'm an Advocate fan, Stronghold is another good one.
Vet Uk have their own brand. You get a prescription from your vet, send it off to them and they send you the drops. I do this for my dogs flea treatment. You get 6 months worth and it's quite a bit cheaper.
Frontline is not very effective any more. I use Stronghold for mine. It is only available from vets though and is no cheaper than Frontline. It also treats roundworms as well (active ingredient id selamectin).

The cheaper drops from pet shops are a total waste of money as they don't work.
