People keep saying there was going to be a storm tonight but the weather here hasn't been too bad (i'm in the south west - gloucestershire). When is this big storm expected? Will it be high winds and rain?

According to the weather guys it should hit early hours of the morning coming from the south east strenghtening during the day, love the bit "stay at home if you can" (tell my boss that) will last till Tuesday pm to early Wednesday , (not hit Kent yet)

Remember . I dont think there is a hurricane on its way ( Ian mccaskill ) I'm a yorkie so I will be in the middle quite bit . forecast say Scotland snow .South west very windy approx early morning. I'm not at work in the morning so I dont care.

It's blowing a gale and raining here in Torbay and it was awful last night.

At 2am it started to kick off, but at 4:15 I thought my bedroom windows were going to blow in!!! I'm in Surrey, we lost electricity for 3 hours, it's calmed down a bit now but we have been told to expect more later, I am now going to brave it and take dogs for a walk, it's days like these I wish I had a cat instead!!

I live in East Sussex and we have had bad weather all day, really rainy and windy. But I wouldn't say it was a storm or anything near like it has been made to seem. Hopefully tonight will be OK too.

Apparently it got bad in the night here, but i didn't even wake up! But i didn't for the earthquake either!

Just a bit windy at the moment in Bournemouth, The worst will be about 12noon Tues. My Bedroom faces north so don`t hear much of anything.

Expect bad weather in Gloucestershire (the county of my birth) whenever I return on a visit! I was there last weekend.
