Weather in the Diminican Republic

Hi,

I am going to the Dominican republic in September and want to know what the weather will be like. Has anyone been around that time of year who can tell me what it was like?

Hi, kduf. We went in September about three years ago. It was beautiful. We had a hurricane in the middle of our fortnight there, so the weather was bad for about four days, but glorious either side. Have a lovely time. :o)

The Dominican Republic's notorious for freak weather conditions, but when it's nice there (most of the time), it's lovely. Unfortunately, September seems to be one of the worst times for rainfall, with an average of 7 ins. falling during that month (the highest). Having said that, you may well be lucky!
