Anybody want snow?
Winter's finally here.With a vengeance.
We've got plenty of it. It's been snowing heavily for the past 4 hours. Collection free. Bring your own bucket.

yes i managed to get some at a shop not to far from my house but my daughter was worried as its dark outside. thankyou the hussy"s are nice and cosy for the night. xxx

Nice and cosy here, too. Snow falling thick and fast, heating on and a glass of red wine (a nice Merlot) on doctor's orders - no kidding!
Got to go and rest my knie- stitches out but still a bit swollen.

Snow is lovely if you don't have to go out in it! Unfortunately i had to when we had heavy snow early this year. I worked in home care and had to go and get people out of bed, give medication etc... I was 6 months pregnant at the time and believe it or not i still had some moan at me cos it was half hour later than their normal time. One man told me he didn't care that it was 6 inches deep in snow i should still be on time! So i'd rather it didn't snow.x

Oh wow .. nix-j-c.. I live near the sea and river in Norfolk ..but as yet I haven't seen any snow ! I live in hope !

Hi there tara,
NO no snow here,in the "soft" south east corner of the UK(Near Hastings) we haven't had "proper" snow for over 9 years,just alight fall(like icing sugar frosting).
Where are you in Austria?(lovely country) we have holidays in~St Wolfgang~Salzburg(twice) and Vienna.
I do miss Demel's(even if it is a bit of a tourist spot),also we went to see "The Merry Widow" at the Volksoper,couldn't get into the Staatsoper.
Went on the wheel in the Prater,and to the cemetery where Mozart is buried(unmarked).
Yes,you could say we like Austria,it is so gemuchlicht(sp)
