Sunday. It's looking like a much better day today. Very little wind, some high cloud, a wee bit cool, but the sun is coming up.

It was very windy yesterday, in the docks it caused some events to be cancelled. But there was still a lot going on.

We did see some armed police, they seemed to be enjoying themselves too.

There should be lots going on today.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning albs xxx

They are an impressive sight right enough. There are seven this year.

How's you this morning my lovely?
am well, I think, thanks Boaty xx
(ask me when I've woken up lol)
Hope all is well with you?

The joys of living with quick-witted people, yesters the older alba said to his dad, I need to borrow a couple of screws.
Mr Alba : put them back when you're finished
OA : (after a couple of seconds) oh, ha ha very funny dad
Question Author
arf arf arf. I like it! But he did ask for it by asking toquote[borrow] a couple of screws!
yep, he sure did ask for it !!

The older alba seems to be in either constructive or destructive mode at the weekends recently.
2 weeks ago, he spent Sunday building a garden bench, most impressive it is too, just the right height and so on and so forth.
Last weekend it was a bow (as in bow and arrows lol)
Question Author
Different I suppose! A garden bench to a bow. I'm sure he knows what's what.
Question Author
I once made a crossbow. I fired a bolt, I'd also made, at a tree, it went in so far I couldn't get it out. I destroyed the crossbow.
He crafted the bow from metal rims, it's a cracker but it doesn't work for me, I only get the arrow to ping about 2 feet - however, him, his bruv and their mates get the arrows about 12-15 feet.
sob
understandable, Boaty, about the destruction of crossbow, scary.
Question Author
Such is life labs. ;o}
Question Author
labs? I know I typed albs. My poota is haunted! :-O
labs ?!! yer at it again man !! lol

The destructive side of him isn't really destructive, he's stripping down the engine of his motorbike, it's a long road, by the time he's finished we'll all be using thon James Bond rocket-jet-pack things.
as Eric Morcambe (great man) once said to Mr Preview, I am playing all the rights notes but not necessarily in the right order.
Question Author
Not my fault. Someone keeps moving the keys about.
Question Author
Yer man was a genius. Very clever and very funny. The one that sticks in my mind most is the one in kitchen, preparing breakfast. Hilarious!
oh, it's blooming annoying innit?!

As you know, I've got a sugar bowl gremlin here, went to look for the spare one, that's disappeared too, on the plus side, I've now got 2 sugar spoons, found the second one whilst looking for spare sugar bowl.
Question Author
Makes you wonder, doesn't it!
ooh, I'd forgotten about that one !

Do you remember the one with Burly Shassey coming down the stairs wearing boots?
