Sunday. Calm outside after some windy weather yesterday. I've just replace everything again, getting to be a habit! It's cloudy and cool, a hint of rain to come. We'll see.

A busy day today, I'm doing a lunch party, always good fun.

Have a happy day everyone.

G'day stranger.

Not because you are stranger than me, come to think of it, " I challenge you to prove you are stranger than me!!!".

Just got home from the wedding of the century, if I'd have known it was a 48 hour celebration with a few hours off for sleeping I'd have visited the local amphetamine dealer before I left this sleepy village ;-/

G'day cobber.

Now that's what I call celebration!

I reckon we're about equal on the strange list! ;o}
Certainly went on long enough, 3 hour drive between the church and the reception, same to get back to where we were staying, same to get back to the next days shindig, then back to our digs. Add that to 6 hours drive from our place, same home.

Might sleep for a few days now.

Blimey! Not exactly next door is it! Still; as long as everyone enjoyed themselves.
'Twas a good do.

We stayed with "groomzilla's" parents, and I thought it was customary for the bride to be stressed and go "berko".

Should have seen this young fella ;-)

Kept me amused ;-)

Now that's conjured up a picture! ;o}
Poor fella, he was in the church with his 4 groomsmen awaiting his beloved for 15 minutes, every two minutes he was adjusting his groomsmen's attire and getting them to adjust his.

It's fun people watching when they are nervous and stressed ;-)

Yeah, a bit mean of me, but!!!!!!!!
Coooeeee cobber.

My favourite pastime too.

One Sunday lunchtime, about 20 years ago, we had gone to the TA for a lunchtime snifter. The obligatory old boy was sat on his stool in the corner.We were sat at a wee table opposite the bar. Two girls, late teens/early 20's came in and stood at the bar while they ordered their drinks. Both about 5 foot six, one blonde and one brunette, their hair was down to the middle of their backs, both looked stunningly beautiful, slender figures, both wearing a sky blue silk top with white trousers. They looked gorgeous .The old boy was watching us watching them. they got their drinks and moved off. About five minutes later, two more girls came in one blonde, one brunette wearing the same outfits, but they looked more like a couple of galleons under full sail! They stood in the same place while they ordered their drinks. The contrast couldn't be more obvious! How we, and the old boy in the corner didn't burst out laughing I'll never know!
Yeah, gotcha.

Was having coffee with my dad a week or so ago. He said "turn around and have a sly glance at the two at the next table".

A 40-50 year old lady, obese, pimply, scoffing burgers, chips and everything that could possibly be unhealthy by the bucket load sitting with her twenty or so year old daughter who was eating sushi and salad, looking gorgeous.

"It's good to see that youngsters break their parents traditions" was my reply.
Good morning all

Says a lot oz. It happens here too. A family not far from here it's roles reversed. The daughter, who could be gorgeous but for emulating the mother you saw, while her mother looks younger than her daughter and is beautiful. I happen to know she is 53, but looks in her 20's true! Her daughter you could take for her mother!
I'm working again! My choice....and I like the overtime.

Less than 2 weeks until Phoebe arrives to start her new life.

How is everyone today? Xx
G'day Danny, all good with you?

Too right Boaty, some learn, others don't.
Morning Nom.

Counting down the minutes until your little girl arrives?
Question Author
Morning NM. Getting all upsited are you? ;o}

Al well here ta.

Morning danny. All well mate?
Question Author
you're right oz. It'a shame because she could be as good looking as her mum. She's one of five children and the only one with no sense or personal pride.
If you don't have pride in yourself Boaty there is nothing left in life!

Been down that path, learn't my lesson.
Question Author
You're right oz. It's sad to see though. She's a nice enough girl, as are the whole family, but she's usually stuffing herself with something unhealthy. Hem parents have given up on her.
I'm literally counting the hours! We've been out and bought her a lovely bed and a blanket and friends at work have started giving me toys for her xx
