I'm ok thanks boaty. I've been awake all night with the gales battering at the windows.
I was supposed to go to Lewes yesterday but had to cancel. The weather was foul. This morning, I have a quack's apt at 8.30 then some shopping. I hope I'll bump into a friend when I'm out and we can go for coffee.

The last bit sounds nice jan. It hasn't been that windy here so far, it's blowing a good'un but not an 'ooligan just yet.

I didn't get to Stroud yesterday, but I did get my delivery, so I'm happy enough.

Ah well, Stroud will always be there for another day. How are you coping with your kindle?

It's a good bit of kit. :o} I'm still working out how to do some things on it, then I'll use it more. I'll be able to take it when I'm away weekends etc. I've worked out how to get on line from other routers etc.

It all looks too complicated for me. I'm very much still living in an age of Morse Code, semaphore flags and smoke signals as a means of keeping in touch.

Morning to you all. Winds are howling up here, van overturned on the (currently closed) Forth road bridge, snow gates closed where I'm heading soon, debris everywhere.

Douglas, morning. My friends live in South Queensferry and they tell me the Bridge has been closed and the area is very dangerous.
