Good news about grandpa's operation !! And hopefully weather will be nicer then too for recuperation ..... dad's party was sooooperb, everyone had a great time and dad went home with a big smile !

Morning all! The wind has dropped off a lot but it's still raining.

I had to cancel the charter yesterday as the wind was gusting 30 to 40 knots. Impossible to take a narrowboat out in that.

Morning Boaty xx what a pity you had to cancel the charter..hope the birthday child wasn't too disappointed....it was a local place we went to Slappy, the average age of attendees was about 76 so couldn't afford accompanying paramedics for anything too avent garde !!!
