........... we've had nothing but rain, rain, rain for 2 weeks now . If I hear another hose pipe ban I will shove it where the sun don't shine (no pun intended there by the way!)

Apparently it's going to be a cold May down in the south but a scorching summer.... pffft! heard all that before!!!!

Just seen the TV weather forecast Louise and it says "much wetter next week!" - best build an ark!

It's crazy. This must be one of the wettest countries on earth, yet we rely on surface water for our supplies. Billions of tons of water lie just below the surface
-ask any mining engineer.

Dry countries in eg. Africa, sink wells and have no problems.

The current heavy rain will soak into the ground and 'DROUGHT!' is our pathetic reply. Or did I forget about the massive profits for the water companies...any relevance ?
