Tipping in Switzerland
We are going there soon for a holiday. Whats the norm for tipping if its not added to the bill?

Tips are automatically included on all hotel and restaurant bills, as well as on most taxi fares. It is neither necessary nor expected to leave an extra tip. You'll enjoy it, it's a nice country. Try and get up one of the mountains on a cable car if you can for breathtaking views. I went to Leysin - Lake Geneva region mid 1980s. I will go back one day. |
