Traffic on M27

What is the traffic likely to be like on Saturday around the M27 near to Southampton. Have heard it can be pretty horrendous - or is that during peak holiday times?

This Saturday is turnaround cruise day - there will be 4200 people heading towards Independence, and 4000 people heading towards Arcadia and Oceana. It will be hell.
