Need advice on Eastbourne

We are a couple in our 20s wanting to see Eastbourne and wondering if it is worth spending 1 night there? Is there enough to do in a day and a half or are we likely to get bored? Travelodge do cheap rooms for around £29 a night.

Definately, i know there is a stereo typical view on EB being gods waiting room but my Hubbie is from there and we have had many a good night out down there. Is plenty to see and do in the day also, depending on what your into but i would recommend it! If it wasnt for work we would be living there and i hope that we can do some day. Enjoy!
