Katowice, Poland

Hello, i am going to Katowice next month for a long weekend with some mates. Could anyone tell me what there is to do nearby, like restaurants, pubs, nitghtlife etc.
We also fancy going to a good water park if anyone knows of one in Katowice??

And are there any other places that you would recommend to see?
