flying with monarch airline

i was just wondering if there was any possibility i could take my straightners in my hand luggage and any other electrical appliances
if anyone knows i would really appreciate it.

Electrical items are not restricted as such - at most they might ask to see them and perhaps X-ray them separately. Just make certain there is nothing sharp involved (pointed or with a "cutting" edge, even scissors are banned).
