Isle Of Man

Tourist Info on IOM website states no passport required for visitors from UK, but tried to book hotel online & they ask for name as appears on passport, my passport out of date, does that matter, as I shouldn't need one?

Course you don't. But the website is on the world wide web - and they will get visitors from all over the world who do need passports.
Have a good trip - I hear it's lovely.
