(18:34 on Thu 16/Nov/06) I lived around half an hour's drive away from Detroit for just over a year, and no, it's not that nice. Ended up accidentally driving through an area of lots of drive-by shootings one night, really wasn't very pleasant. Strange thing was, in the area we lived in, no-one locked their houses or cars, as there was so little crime.
