kovac		(Mon 17:57 29/May/06) The cost of living is cheaper in the North of England. So, If you're not frightened of the cold weather it might be worth considering the North East. BUT I'm biased, given that I live between Durham and Newcastle!
jes1973		(Tue 03:07 30/May/06) Question Author I definately have to keep working (I'm only 33) so not moving to retire - so looking for somewhere where there is plenty of work available (currently work in tourism)... weather is no problem, but cost of living is - I'd like to be able to buy a house and be able to have enough spare change in my pocket at the end of the week to at least have a little bit of a life!!!!.... :-) Thanks for the suggestions - will check out locations on the internet today.....
