Erdogan's right. No European should go to a Moslem country, they're not safe.
Quite so - anyone holidaying in Turkey is in severe denial of the risks (and financing the odious Erdogan).
shame because what i remember was a beautiful country, not that we saw a lot but going on travel programmes and the like.

My wife works regularly in Abu Dhabi for a month at a time, and has encountered nothing but friendship and respect from all the Muslims with whom she interacts, who, interestingly, are responsible for the education of the next generation of Muslims in that Emirate.
I might go there on business Andy - but not for a holiday - and there are many countries (Turkey included) that would be off limits for work or pleasure.

Not just muslim countries though - the world has many dangerous places (Russia and the USA are both high on my 'no go' list).
Not really a pitch for EU membership is it?
Had my eye on this thread and well, I didn't expect much traffic but I log back on to AB to find out Erdogan's words are already proving prophetic.
