Hi, all. We haven't had a holiday for nearly 3 years. We can go for a week from 17/9 with small dog in tow.

We've found a cottage in Tarbert, Argyll & Bute, which fits the bill and is available. We live in E. Yorks. and I've spent ages trying to discover travel times and distances. Can anyone help, please, before it gets booked, but if it too far than we have to carry on looking. Thanks to anyone. :)

According to Google it is 6 hours!!

Would help to know how you will be travelling
East Yorkshire is a big place. But from Hull it would be roughly 6.5hrs.
5 hours according to the mapping system in my iPhone

I got 6 hours to Tarbert at the head of Loch Lomond - but this is a different one at the head of the Mull of Kintyre - across the water from Lochgilphead.
For some reason I can't find Google maps, possibly because this computer came with EDGE installed. Tearing hair.

That looks a possibility Baldric, thanks.

^^^ Driving, with small dog needing breaks.

^^ We're a bit north of Driffield, Zacs.
Half an hour less then Jourdain. We don't live too far apart!
Just type where you live and the destination into google and add distance and it will tell you miles and driving time!
approx 350 miles - around 6-7 hours

:) Zacs - nice round here isn't it.

I thank you all help. It isn't good that there are 2 Tarberts. The one at the top of Loch Lomond I know and is about 6 hours - the other must surely be more. Back to the sweaty keyboard!
Jourdain, shhhhhhh. ;-)

Thanks, Baldric. May be a bit far for us - but on the other hand I drove all the way up through France the other year (2015) - so what the heck! :)
Hull to Mull of Kintyre, 7 hours 43
