Since immigration is top of the list of concerns on the EU referendum vote, is UKIP wrong to highlight it in such a way on their Brexit campaign poster?

NO ...... the poster shows us what it may be like if we stay in the EU, look at the poster closely, can you see any women and children among the thousands of men? These people are not fleeing a war zone, they are trying to get into GB, Germany, France etc, our country is at bursting point, schools, NHS, housing are all under pressure, hilighted by the poster. The sooner we get out of the EU the better!

I wonder where UKIP got their inspiration from for this poster..?

For the record, I thought that the poster was incendiary.
Look at the two posters again Gromit, in yours there are men, women, children, old and young people, in the Farage poster it is ALL men, they look to be between 20 and 40, again I ask, where are the women and children, if these fit young men are fleeing a war zone then why don't they stay and fight for their country!!
Mush...that "Britain isn't working" left egg on the face of the Tories, as not long after their win in 1979, unemployment rocketed , and continued to grow, unchecked for years.
Corbyn admitted this morning, we have no control over immigration. (and you'll just have to lump it)
mikey, whether it later proved to come back and bite the conservatives is not at issue in this case, but rather the iconic image that the poster was at the time. if you google it, it has been copied, parodied, etc many times, just re-inforcing its place in the public's consciousness.

The picture of migrants coming here is actually a picture of refugees on the Slovenian border, destination Germany.

There were literally thousands of pictures taken of the event but UKIPs image does not have any women and children on it, when most of the others pictures do.

If that Poster helps to get the message across to just a few of the limp wristed traitorous 'let 'em all in' brigade that mass immigration is the real threat to Western Europe then it's no bad thing.
Gromit, they all look like fit young men to me, why are they not fighting for their country. Did we roll over in 1939 when the Nazis were on the march?

No, we stood up to them and we beat them, now we need to do it again.
St Peter....Syrians are being slaughtered in their hundreds of thousands, by ISIS as well as the combined efforts of the Assad and his Russian friends.

How do you expect these people to "fight back" against air strikes by MIG fighters and barrel bombs ?

When the citizens of Fallujah try to fight back against the heavy artillery of ISIL, they are being slaughtered as well.
But it is a lie. They are not migrants coming here, they are refugees from a war going to Germany.

If the Brexit case is so strong, why do they have to resort to deception?
Gromit...is a habit that Farage and his ilk have got into for years, and especially the last few months. Its indicative of the Brexits increasing desperation.

///they are refugees from a war going to Germany.///

And then where to next Germany is just one Country on route?
Question Author
/// Mr Osborne told ITV's Peston on Sunday: 'I think there is a difference between addressing those concerns [about immigration] in a reasonable way and whipping up concerns, whipping up division, making baseless assertions that millions of people are going to come into the country in the next couple of years from Turkey, or saying that dead bodies are going to wash up on the beaches of Kent ///

How can he possible know that these are baseless assertions? At the moment they are pretty real assertions for many.

/// 'That is what we should say no to and this referendum vote is a vote on the kind of Britain we want.' ///

Totally agree that this is a vote on the kind of Britain we want, and not the kind of Britain that Europe wants, and that is why I believe the vote for leaving will be successful.

Whats wrong with it, or the other photos for that matter?

We are/were a British Country, lets try and keep it that way for the sake of our children and grandchildren!!!!!
80% are not syrian.
