I met him once when he came to the child development centre in Blackpool that my son attended.There was something about him I didn't like, nothing specific or that I could put into words though. He was a little stand offish but as far as I know he behaved impeccably.

A retired teacher is currently being tried at Birmingham Crown Court for many offences he committed years ago. He's not famous.

I stand corrected. This chap is alleged to have committed his offences while a Teacher. But he went on to be a reasonably well known TV personality, and I am concerned that more offences may have been committed after he left his role in education.

Although I think anyone who has abused children in any way should be prosecuted I'm started to fear for men and the fact that they might be reluctant to be friends with children.
