When I look up a holiday price stating 7days it includes accommodation and airfare, when I increase my booking to 14days it doubles its price shouldn't it just be another 7 days accommodation increase can anyone explain to me why airfare is included again.

This is not normally the case vignon. What agency are you using ?
I don't where you are looking - every two week holiday I have ever seen is usually only about £20 more than it is for one week.
Thought I would just have a quick look. Thomsons doubled the price but Thomas Cook only added about £150 on. Looks like you need to shop around.

Hello ABs,next time I book I will check it again, I think I must be getting it mixed up with pp.(age has something to do with it) ta
it depends - the second week might be much busier than the first, for instance, so the second week's accommodation would cost more than the first.
Why don't you book your flight and accommodation separately yourself on the internet - it'll work out much cheaper.
If you book flights and hotel separately you also need to add the cost of transfers from the airport to your hotel. Also, if your flight is delayed / cancelled any consequential changes to your hotel booking are at your risk.
It`s not necessarily cheaper to book flights and hotel independently. The travel agents broker deals with scheduled airlines whereby they get a good discount (according to how much they spend) and should pass on some of that discount to the customer. It`s worth shopping around, in that respect.
