There are 2 electric car charging points in Heaton Park, Manchester, near the golf course entrance. They have been there for 3 years, and to date, no-one has seen them being used. They might have been used at some point but no-one can re-call it, so why are they there?

For people to charge their electric cars?

Just because you or anyone you know haven't seen them being used it doesn't mean that they aren't ever used.

Plus...If they want us to drive round in electric cars then the charging points need to be there.
