Cost?

I dont have an arrival time yet.

Ive been googling but I just find it very confusing, too much info, too many numbers etc.

Its a Dyslexia/Dyscalculia thing.

Any help gratefully received.

Hereford? Or Hertford?

I just looked on a map. Luton is near Hertford.
I'm sure by train you would leave Luton to Birmingham, from Birmingham go on the West line to Hereford!!

From Luton airprort to Hereford Kvalidir, no JJ, not Hertford, Hereford.

Sorry, I haven't used public transport (buses and trains) for about 35 year

http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timesandfares/Birmingham/HFD/081014/1015/dep You could get the National Express from Luton Airport to Birmingham Coach Station and then the train to Hereford. I don`t know how far the coach station is from the train station but there`s probably a bus. Or you could just sit on the National Express with one change in Birmingham which takes ages but National Express tends to go "all around the houses" http://coach.nationalexpress.com/nxbooking/journey-list
Ooops sorry Ratter. Those National Express links didn`t work - they changed to the default page.
Green Line 757 luton airport to baker street (London), every 30mn and journey 70mn.

10-20mn walk to Paddington station

train London to Hereford (via Newport) every hour at xxh45, journey 2hr45mn.
National Express Coach from Airport Terminal to Victoria Coach Station then on to Hereford. Through ticket is around £30 per person one way and will take about 6hours.

Thank you very much all.

I think we have found the best (National Express Coach from Airport Terminal to Victoria Coach Station then on to Hereford.)

Its not for me its for a friend moving here with lots of luggage so wont be walking far.
I'm really not trying to be flippant. If it's at all possible, I'd go by car, especially as there's a load of luggage involved and you don't know what time of day they arrive. Is there nobody in Hereford who would go and collect them? It's 145 miles according to Google and would be much quicker and easier for the traveller (although not necessarily for the driver)
Don't know what you mean by 'lots of luggage' but coach travel and 'lots of luggage' are not normally compatible. Normally two medium suitcases and one item of hand luggage is maximum

Still if it's come on a plane to Luton there can't be all that much.
//coach travel and 'lots of luggage' are not normally compatible.//

travelling on modern trains falls in the same category. carriage designers seem to have assumed that train passengers put their bags in the hold.

No one to collect her from London, we are collecting her from Hereford to drive her another 1hour to Llandrindod Wells, but from London is just a little to far due to other commitments.
If the place she is flying from has direct flights to Birmingham, that would have seemed to be the better option as you can take a train direct to Hereford from there.

Obiter, a bit late to change flight plans, she is flying in from Romania :-)
