jeez that's sad :(
Oh how terrible. Poor poor things. How could someone deliberately burn all those dogs to death? I'm just lost for what to say. Truly heartbreaking that they were taken there for safekeeping and now this ...
Very very sad, oh them poor dogs.
Put this news on my f/book page an hour ago. Hope it wasnt deliberate!!!
This is really terrible news. What sort of person could do something like that. It's made me feel sick.
It was deliberate pusskin. A juvenile has been arrested for arson.
pusskin a male juvenile has been arrested on suspicion of arson so it looks as if it was deliberate.
Omg, no! I hope he gets a few years inside for this. He is a monster!!!
I don't know what to say about this - all those poor dogs . It is sad enough that they were in the home waiting for a new home without someone killing them.

Shocking and sickening - poor lovely creatures.

How very sad for these poor dogs.
How could anybody do that. I have tears in my eyes thinking of those poor dogs.
Iif he is only 8 years old he has not committed an offence. That's the law.

It must have been heartbreaking for anyone who was nearby, not being able to help them.
I hope the little ******* who set the fire gets the harshest punishment possible! I believe that a life sentence can be given for arson with intent to endanger life.

Daily Mail says he is 14
Can a 14yr old be prosecuted for this?
I heard about it on the news. I understand someone has now been charged with the attack .
Stories like this make me want to cry. I shall send them a donation this morning and suggest that every other dog lover on AB do the same.
Felt really sick when I heard of this! :-(
Awful awful news, to think that someone could do this deliberately is unthinkable.

They've just said on Granada news that a contractor has offered to rebuild the building for free which is a smidgen of good news.

They've also said that thousands of people have come forward to offer to rehome the ones rescued-where were these people before the fire happened then?
