I'm driving myself mad look for self catering accommodation in central Paris for a few nights next month. Ideally I'd like a hotel room with a proper bed, not a sofa bed, with a small kitchenette.

I can't really afford a decent private apartment and am nervous of the cheaper ones as I cannot decide about the type of locality. I've been looking for days now and have given myself a headache!

Any help would be very welcome.

Hi, just to let you know I have put an answer on your thread, Dacryocystorhinostomy Outcome. Sorry can't help with this one.
Did you know there is a forum on Tripadvisor? It`s a drop down box from the 'more' heading. I asked something on there the other day and had a reply within a couple of hours. Might be worth a go.
Hi again, as 237SJ says why not go on TripAdvisor for an answer to this one. Click on the link below and ask or next to TripAdvisor at the top you will see hotels, click on there and it has apartments in all price ranges. I often use this site when looking for somewhere to go or to give advice sometimes. You will get many more answers than on here for this type of thing.

Hi all and thanks for your support so far.

I'm looking for a hotel room with a kitchenette and a proper bed. (Rather than an apartment). Ideally in districts 1,4,5 or 6. Up to say £120 per night.
My son has stayed here and thought it was fantastic.

I'm probably WAY too late with this answer....but I've stayed at several of the Citadines Apart'Hotels around Paris (and also Brussels, Berlin, Lyon) and would think that they are just what you want...some rooms DO have sofa-beds, but others have separate bedrooms. The kitchen areas come well-equipped too.
