Information appreciated please. Where do you go to get a birth Cert (Ireland) translated to French language for work purposes. Applicant living in France currently and has been asked for this for her workplace. Thanks in advance.

you can't get an official translation, you could just get a copy and photocopy it with the translation written in.Or you could just write down the details and use a translation service to put it in French

There are official Notary Services which will produce an authorised translated copy of your birth cert.

Thank you both very much. That's why I love Answerbank.... pearls of wisdom every day. Well I found a translation service online that specialises in legal documents etc, so it was a matter of scanning the document and emailing it off. Hope to have it back by this weekend.

Just imagine the uproar if a UK employer insisted on an employee having their birth certificate translated to English. How do the French get away with it?
