Can anyone tell me which bus number to get from Pier Head/The Strand to The Philarmonic Dining Rooms in Hope Street, Liverool please? How frequent are they on Saturdays?

bus 75 from the bus station (5mn walk from strand street), and alight at hardman street, with 2mn walk to the dining rooms.

Am I pushing my luck to ask for the route number from the dining rooms to Lime Street Station? ;-)

it's the same bus - but you can walk it in just under 15mn.
