What are the must do or must see things when taking a holiday here?

Firstly check out the Bratwurt sausage near the river it is excellent, and go down the alleys for the bars and oompah bands.

well... not that much, it's a small town with a fair bit of wine. Try taking a river cruise along the Rhine (you can go one way and pick up a train back). Mainz and Wiesbaden are interesting places for an excursion, and there are other pretty villages along the river banks.
