Now what i want to know is what does the spo mean

I know a couple who did not know RO meant room only [ I though everyone knew that !] went to daughter's wedding in some exotic land and were strapped for cash because they had to pay for all meals.
So Rain has the right idea to find out exactly what it means before he goes on holiday.
