Any food storage type bags from the supermarket will do. I always have used medium ones.
Yes as pasta says all the supermarkets sell them. There is a size limit on them, 20cm by 20cm, which if you work in old money like me is 8in by 8in.
Or if you do want ziplock, W H Smiths or any good newsagent
Most airports hand them out just prior to security.

Thanks very much all x
Hi grasscarp, a lot of airports are now charging for this at £1 a time.
I am shocked by that Shedman. I remember a long time ago having to buy one out of a machine (not a London airport) but it was rather a nice one and I still have it somewhere. I went out of Gatwick last month and they were free there (then).
If there is chance to get some money out of us they will always find some way to do it. As you say though not all airports will charge.
Lakeland ?
I have seen some in a pound shop complete with plastic bottles for the liquids.

Does anyone know whether Zip Lock bags that can be clipped into folders (they have 2 holes in them, similar to that of a plastic wallet etc) still exist? They look vaguely like this...
