there was a big watchdog report last week on airport parking. It was quite scary. It be tempted to park on site at airport in one of the big carparks where you collect it from too, knowing that it hasnt been moved.

Purple parking can put 20 miles on the clock. Not sure where they leave the cars but it's quite a way out from the airport. I have used them a couple of times but would now rather park in the airport multistory. If you book ahead the price is OK and YOU keep the keys.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/...ark_heathrow_ltd.html dont use these guys.
I usually book a hotel for night before flight and add in parking on site with them. It can work out cheaper that way and you dont need to leave keys. Park inn is the hotel i used at heathrow |

We've used Purple several times with no problems. Good service for dropping off and picking up at all terminals. I take note of the odometer (don't reset the trip) and there is usually only about 1 mile added, which allows for the car being moved around the car park. Going to use them again in March...£92 for 36 days.

Oooer, I've been scared off purple parking, thanks for the info guys. I've booked with BAA's own car park at Heathrow. A few quid more but worth it probably. Thanks v much everyone.
