Emigrating to Canada..

My friend has applied to live in Canada. I wondered how easy or hard it is to be accepted and how long it is likely to take before they hear either way? Has anyone else tried to do this? Thanks

I think it's like Australia, they need people with certain skills. I have a friend who emigrated with his family some 20 years ago - they love it, they wouldn't come back.

My ex hubby emigrated to Canada. He was murdered there ten years later.Shot through the head, I still cant believe it. He was my ex, but still my friend.

That's horrible beattie, we left England to go to Canada in 1956 was a good way of life.
Sorry Scarlett, not very well up on immigration policies now. I do think Canada is more particular who they let in than the UK is.
