egypt naturist beaches

Does anyone know if there are any naturist beaches in Egypt? (not looking to start any debate about whether you like/dislike or agree/don't agree with it - just honest answers please!)

You may be able to get away with more things in Hurghada than the rest of Egypt but taking your clothes off isn't going to be one of them. It is not Europe.

googling naturism+hurghada suggests there is a nudist beach, nonetheless.

If you go to McDonalds in Cairo or Alexandria, strip off so you are completely nude, they will give you a free burqa.

I've checked a couple of the (rather old) naturist guidebooks on my shelves, and hunted around the web. As I expected, naturism simply isn't possible in Egypt. (OK, there's a well-known naturist film which was shot in Egypt several years ago, but the Ukrainian team which made it went out into the desert to do so. There are no beaches, 'official' or otherwise, where you can strip off. Egypt is a 'textiles'-only country!).
