Getting there

entry to usa???

we are travelling to california and my husband had a drink drive ban 20 years ago would this effect getting in to the us????

In no way whatsoever - drink driving is not moral turpitude and he can quite truthfully sign the NO box on the visa waiver form.

Technically he can't enter Canada* though...... But they don't ask British tourists about it.

*Without applying for rehabilitation
