Hello there dot,
I hope you are feeling better after your fall?
I admit it is difficult to find a hirer of MPV's in any area!
However this link:~
http://www.avis.co.uk/Fleet.aspx
Will take you to a page(scroll to bottom) for a 7 seater Renault Espace avaialble from Avis Bolton. It might be that Avis is too expensive for you?but at least it is avaialble.
Just change the dates at the top and see what they can supply.
I tried searching for an Avis in Preston, but it could only find Preston Australia! LOL
Of course there may be an Avis in your Preston?
Have Fun.

The AA routefinder gives the driving time from St Austell as 5 hours 55 minutes. From Newquay it's 6 hours 10 minutes. Allowing for a couple of breaks (and assuming no major hold-ups), it would probably take around 7 hours in total from either of those places.
The AA quotes 6 hours 43 minutes driving time from Penzance. Once again assuming no major delays, the total journey time would probably be around 8 hours.

Dot, bit of a late post but dont forget about luggage. When people carriers are in their 7 seat configuration they have hardly any luggage space. You may need to get a toip-box with it which most compainies now provide (at an extra charge of course). have a good trip !
