Ryanair. Any flexibility on passports?

Ryanair say they want full passports as the only ID they'll accept, even on flights from UK to Ireland.

Is there any way round this, or do they stick to their rule? (Aer Lingus will accept bus passes!)

They seem fairly strict. I'd guess not.
They will accept an EU ID card if you are from a country that issues them. But otherwise passports only.
As a UK Passport Holder, then no... As stated an ID card is only accepted from countries which issue them, and requires people to carry them on a 24/7 basis.
No, they're a tight bunch.
Ryanair don't do flexibility...
