Egypt hol hotel

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Egypt. We think the red sea area, and child free would be a bonus.
Genuine local culture without the tat is also a must. Best regards. PS what is the climate like in Feb?
Regards.

Dont book the big 5* hotels.....they're the ones bombers target and full of russians (as per germans)!

Go to the smaller 3* places (all Brits & Ozs). Cheaper, safer!

You can always visit the 5* nearby for their facilities....cabaret & pools.

Feb is warm during daylight and chilly in evening.

I wouldn't go to the Red Sea for genuine culture or child free. I'd go to Karnack to the Valley of the Kings, or down to Aswan. Both are much warmer too as they are further south. If you don't want to go that far, then stay in Cairo which is interesting beyond description. Pyramids, Cairo museum etc. The Red sea area is fine if you want to sunbathe and to dive but there is no local culture there to speak of as there is no community.

I went to Sharm in February and stayed here

The hotel was nice, especially the grounds. Supposed to be 5 star, but isn't really. The weather in Febuary was good. Sunny, but not too hot. The hotel has its own beach from which you can snorkel and see large brightly coloured fish close-up.
